West Special Fasteners were asked to supply specially engineered products in Titanium Grade 5, to be used on the Triton 36000/2 submarine project. This sub, worth millions of dollars, travelled 35849 feet (almost 11000 mtrs) below sea level, at the Mariana Trench. This is the deepest-ever submarine dive, with our parts on-board, all made in house at our factory in Dronfield – Derbyshire!
