Nitronic 50

Nitronic 50 is a high strength austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance is better than that of 317L and its yield strength is approximately double that of 304 and 316 stainless steel. Nitronic 50 does not become magnetic when in sub-zero temperatures or cold worked. This material also has very good mechanical properties/strength at both sub-zero and elevated temperatures.

West Special Fasteners are manufacturers of Nitronic 50 Fasteners.

Nitronic 50 Fasteners such as Socket Setscrews, Socket Countersunk Screws, Bolts, Washers, Nuts, Socket Capscrews, Studbolt, Studs, & machined components to drawings and hot forged items can all be produced at West Special Fasteners Limited.

We can also supply round bar in Nitronic 50.

Nitronic 50 can be used in a variety of applications where its high strength and corrosion resistance is advantageous. This includes fasteners and components used in industries dealing with chemicals, pulp and paper, food processing, petroleum, petrochemicals and nuclear fuel recycling.

West Special Fasteners specialises in exotic metals and have supplied major UK companies with Nitronic 50 nuts, bolts etc for use in Subsea controls and pipelines.

We look forward to helping with your Nitronic 50 requirements and would welcome any enquiries by telephone on + 44 (0)1246 291111 or email sales@westspecialfasteners.co.uk .
